FOOL'S PRIDE PLUM.
The picture shows a limit taken from n plum tree
grown on W. F. Heller'8 place one mile from town and
should Rive a very good Idea of how plums grow In
Randall county.
APPLES.
This tree Is about five years old and is one of several
all loaded as this one and growing about a -half mile
west from the Court House In Canyon Wry. In Canyon
City this fall Plains grown apples readily sold at $175
per bushel when Roswell apples right by the side of them
sold at 50 cents per bushel. Need we say more?
CHERRIES
The cut here shows cherries grown on U. V. O'Kccfe's
place one-half mile west of the Court House Canyon
City. It was Plains grown fruit that took the prizes
over all Texas at College Station this year.
