Whereas The city council of Ue
City of Bryan deems it advisable to
Issue bonds of said city for the pur
pose hereinafter mentioned.
Therefore It Is hereby ordered by
the city council of the city of Bryan
that an election be held on the 10th
day of August. 190'J at which election
the following proposition shall be sab-
ui I tied: -
Shall the city council of the city
lot liryau be authorized to Issue the
bonds of said city in the suui of ten
thousand dollars payable In forty
years titer date with the option of
redeeming same at any time after
five yean from date bearing Interest
at the rate of five per cent per annum
payable semi-annually and to levy a
tax sufficient to pay the Interest on
said bonds and create a sinking fund
sufficient to redeem them at maturity
for the purpose of erecting and build
ing a city ball building for the city of
Bryan and said bonds to be designa
ted as Bryan City Hall Bonds.
Said election shall be held in the
city of Bryan at the court house of
Brazos Couuty Texas at which place
the polls shall be opened and the fol-
lowing named persons are hereby ap-
pointed managers of said election:

Martin assistant Judge; and O. a
Johnson and E. J. Jenkins clerks.
