Deed' Man Found.
Quite a ripple of excitement
was created in Bellinger Tuesday
evening when it .was announced
that a man's hand arm shoulder
and shoulder blade had been
found on a sand bar between the
gravel ford and county bridge in
the Colorado river. An over and
undershirt were also found within
thirty steps of where the arm lay
turned inside out with wristbands
aifd collars buttoned. Sunday
a coat was found about fifty steps
below where the arm was found
in one of the pockets of which
was found a note stating in sub-
stance that $15 had been deposit-
ed with Schwartz & Baas of San
Angelo for J. H. or G. W. Brooke.
A few days ago a thick heavy
coat and a heavy quilt or blanket
was found a couple of rode fur-
ther down the river but little at-
tention was paid to it at -the time.
The remainder of the body has
not been located but the case
may yet take a' sensational turn.
