The Reporter is in reoeipt of a
oiroular letter advising the farm-
ers to burn a million bales of
ootton. This is olaimed to be
thereat solution of bulling cotton
prices. The.Reporter was ahead
of the oiroular but gave a better
plan also However if our
friends further east want to do it
we give our full permission 'but
out here we needour cotton and
expeot to gqt a fair prio'e for
most of it. p
'
Dee Coffman was in with 11
bales of ootton Thursday. "What
do you think about selling ootton
now" he asked but his question
was too big for us to "v taokle.
However we were free to say
that when June comes if the
aoreage is proven to be out down
enough prioes are bound to ad-
vance. But Mr. Coffman already
knew what he was going to do.
"When anything interferes with
my serving the Lord right then I
am going to get it out of my
way" he said. He had a bad
hand while his children were
pioking his orop and oould not
handle it then. "I will not know
the difference in fifty years any-
way" he added.
