Will learned to drive the
truck and with hm hat
slouched on his head, woukl
deliver groceriea. He was
always in good spirits either
humming or whistling a tune
a* he did his daily chores.
He was friendly, polite and
courteous to everyone. I
never saw him angry or ever
bring in trouble. When I was
ten or twelve years old. he
would say "(iood Morning"
Miss Ida H."
I never heard him call
anyone by their first name, it
was either Mr., Mrs. or Miss,
Will liked everyone he
came in contact with. He
lived a good life, and had
many friends. Time passed
swiftly by. and Will realized
it was time for him to take
the key from the ignition of
the Model T. and lay down
his broom.
Will passed away in 1933
or 1934, but what an impact
he made in life. He didn't
leave any worldly posses
sions, he left something far
greater. He left "inspira
lion." and the fact that a
person can have a full
meaningful life, one with
purpose, and worth living,
even if you had only one arm
