Joe was born March 15.

entire life in the Cistern
community besides the
time he spent in the serv-
ice of his country. On
Aug. 8. 1940, he volun-
teered into the army at
Fort Sam Houston,
training at different
camps in the states. Dur-
ing World War II he
served with the 2nd Divis-
ion in Central Europe.

Kunkcl was a pioneer
farmer in the Pin Oak
Community, and later
w as active in working w ith
beehives near Grassyvillc
and Smithville.
Surviving Kunkel arc

Aurelia Koch two sons.

be an adult sitter clinic
open to the public free of

designed to provide
training for individuals
who can give help in
homes or hospitals to
relieve the families. The
training is also open to
