Hospital in the Pines has
hired its first employee, a vet-
eran hospital administrator
from Kansas City, Mo.
LeRoy F. Riley, who is pres-
ently employed as assistant ad-
ministrator of the 258-bed Re-
search Hospital in Kansas City,
has been employed to manage
the new hospital.
Riley will assume his duties
on Aug. 1.
The hospital, which is being
donated to the area by Lone
Star Steel Company, is sched-
uled to j*o into operation on
Oct. 1.
The Vaughan Brothers of
Naples and Omaha are con-
tractors for the job.
Riley is a former Christian
minister, air force chaplain,
and field representative for
the American Red Cross. He
has served various hospitals in
administrative capacities since
1954.
Riley holds three degrees,
and has done additional post
graduate work in psychother-
apy.
He was graduated with a
B.A. degree from Johnson Bi-
ble College in Tennessee in
1940, received a B.D. degree
from Texas Christian 'Univer-
sity in Ft. Worth in 1949, and
