NEW EDISON
'Tke Pko$craph with a Soul"
There's a way of spending money
that spreads incomes over bigger
"sandwiches."
Big business calls it financing.
Government calls it budgetmaking.
We call it the Budget Plan.
Would you like to own a New Edison ?
Our Budget Plan will show jTou how to
"swing" the purchase without cutting in
on your present necessary expenditures.
Now is a good time to buy. The New
Edison has advanced in price less than 15
since 1914; this includes War Tax. Mr.
Edison has kept prices down by absorbing
increased costs out of his own pocket.

Crop Reports Home
T. E. Bishop and W. R. Draper re-
turned recently from an extended
trip in various sections of southeast
Texas arid the report brought back
in regard to crop Conditions is not
by any means of an encouraging na-
ture. Mr. Bishop and Mr. Draper
took a drove of horses into "the sec-
tion mentioned with the intention of
finding a ready market having heard
that crops generally were in" very
good condition. Owing to heavy
rains in many localities the cotton
crop has been practically ruined and
litUo if any of the fleecy staple will
be gathered this year. Mr. Bishop
savs he saw several stock men who
had sent their horses and mules into
other localities in east Texas and
everywhere the story was the same
bad crop prospects.

was most enjoyable in all respects and

County Agent to Have
Famous Cotton Seed for
Brown County Farmers
Arrangements have been made by
County Agent Griffin for the pur-
chase from A. B. Sanders the origin-
ator of the Lone Star Cotton of 2r0
bushels of his best seed for planting
in Brown county next season. These
seed will be distributed in small lots
to farmers who wish to get the very
best. Seed grown from these seed
will find a ready market at $!i.00 per
