Within a short time much shorter
than mo!t people surmise Brownwood
will not only have a north and south
road but east and west road. The
editor of the Bulletin expects to. go
through to Waco on a - passenger
train before the-end 6f two years.
Work is going tin as rapidly as work
can proceed in the matter of the Ris-
ing Star road but railroads can't be
started in a day or even a week. By
the first of the year grading will prob-
ably begin on a road to the north and
there will then be no stops until that
work is completed.

representatives of many towns in

The Federal Government has ap-
pointed special agents to ascertain
just the facts in regard to the pub-
lished merger of telegraph and tele-
phone companies in this country but
the combine is not reported -as shy-
ing very much at these government
agents. As long as the trusts can
dominate congress they are all
right.

All good things come to those who
patiently hustle for them. The $CV

The Fort Worth Record says that
Congressman Hardy's address at Dal-
las was an "incoherent criticism of
Bailey." It is true that these con-
gressmen who believe In obeying par-
ty platforms are such foolish and in-
coherent chaps. It is extremely ridic-
ulous for a man who stands high
enough to be elected to an office to
show any regard for the expressed
will of the party to which he belongs.
Parties are now merely to be used as
means of. getting into office and a.
man who knows no better than to
stick to a party -platform hasn!t sense
enough -to stay in congress.

HAVE IT OUT AND OVER.
We admire a man who when he
has a grievance or feels that he lias
has the courage and manhood to come"
right up and file his complaint and if
lie has been wronged demand'restitu-
tion. People are often estranged
through lack of this quality by men
who get an impression that they have
b'.-en wronged and go about the .earth
hugging imaginary injuries against
good friends who notice the change
and wonder what brought it about. If
some one has mistreated you go and
tell him so and specify whqn. where
and how... If he will not make good
bawl him him' out and scratch him
from your list. If he makes good
with apologies explanations or cor-
rections give him your hand and
thank him for setting you fight. Men
too often nurse the recollection of
a wrong while many deeds of kind-
ness are .ill . too soon forgotten.
Granbury Graphic Democrat.
That is good sound sense. If you
have a grievance "don't nurse it for-
ever but go right to the proper place
for -correcting it and have It out and

Smri' the Splendid Hair Tonic
is Sold AH Over America.
There is a reason for the phenome-
nal sale of Parisian Sage in the United
States during the past three years.
And the reason is plain to all: Paris-
ian Sage does just what it is advertis-
ed to do.
Ask J. F. Renfro about it. He will
tell you that he rigidly guarantees it
to cure dandruff stop falling hair or
itching scalp in two weeks or money
back.
There is no reason whatever why
any man or woman should fail to take
advantage of the above generous of-
fer. But one thing that has made Paris-
ian Sage famous is its -peculiar power
to turn the harsh unattractive hair
that many women possess into luxuri-
ant and radiant hair in a short time.
Women of refinement the country over
are using it and it never disappoints.
