SEVENTIETH YEAR
Jimmie Nelson Takes Honotiees of Tea by Atlanta PTA
New Post at Grogan's
(M. N. H.)
.. . . . Not all the stories we
hear about Texas are complimen-
tary. Some of the States are back
firing. The other day Spike heard
of a Tenneeseean telling an Eas-
terner about the Lone Star State:
"What we don't like about Texas
up here," said the Memphis man,
"is that they haven't enough bus-
hels down there under which to
hide their lights."

Well the old "Wolf in sheep's
clothing" month is here again —
March creeping in Tuesday with
its giddy disposition—and definite
ly blessed with a sense of humor
—it's either rain, snow, sleet or
sunshine—who cares? Not Mr.
March month.

On drifting around with the
rest of the bill collectors we bump
ed into Miss Julius Crawford who
is looking splendid, recuperating
from eye operation. She exclaim-
ed, "I really should get started
on answering all the Thank You
Notes but I just don't see how
I'll ever get 'em all answered be-
cause people were so wonderfully
nice in remembering me with gifts
cards, flowers, etc. 1 can't begin
to tell how much each rememb-
rance was appreciated."
