SALEM NEWS
Mrs. J. V. Kennedy, Reporter
It's a beautiful day here in East
Texas at least here in Salem com-
munity out from Atlanta, a typical
winter morning, frost, icy, but
blessed sunshine enoyed, just like
a shower of rain in the hot sum-
mer time, after being dry so long
Takes the one to make us appre-
ciate the other. We can see Gods
hand in all of this, time for every
thing, in the spring, preparing the
soil and planting, summer, and fall
harvesting what we have been
blessed with. Soon another Christ-
mas will be here, hope we all give
a thought to what it represents
and try to do our best to observe
it, like it should be.
We had two wonderful messages
by our pastor, good singing Sun-
day night. Did you attend these
services and get a blessing out of
them.
