Courtland News
Had pretty good attendance out
for SS and church. A good many
were absent due to illness. We
sure missed the absent oneB. The
Lord's will, we hope to see each
one out next Sunday.
We pray that the sick* will soon
be well again.
Our deepest sympathy to the
Alex Powell family who lost one
of the little twins. We know their
loss is heaven's gain.

Might we all live as though we
knew today was the day and a
good way to start by being in SS
and church next Sunday. We wel-

Sorry Mrs. Gennie Plum has
been real sick. Glad she's some bet
ter. Joe D. Prator is on the sick
list. We wish for him a speedy
recovery; also Mr. Bob Buzbee—
he's able to be up. Afternoon visi-
tors in their home Sunday were Mr
and Mrs. Curtis Milam and boys,
Mr. and ,Mrs. Ocie Milam and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Merrel
Clayton and boys, Mr. and Mrs.
Bobbie Buzbee and children.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Gardner
and little daughter Hobson Buzbee
and children of Texarkana, Rev.
and Mrs. Burton of Marshall.
Mrs. Elrod spent Saturday with
Mrs. Dee Prator.
Mrs. Pritchard is some better.
She's been on the sick list. Visitors
in their home Sunday were Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Morgan of Texar-
kana and other relatives; also Rev
and Mrs. Burton.

Bobbie Wise, N. S. Navy, was

Baird set up with Mrs. Plum, Sat-
urday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Dawson visit-
ed Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rushing and
baby Monday afternoon.

gram and community Christmas
tree at the school house. Every-
