students.

ing with A through K should attend
at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13.

ning with L through Z are invited at
6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14.
"This is a great opportunity to
tour the building and meet the staff
at WEHS. In addition, students
will pick up schedules and student
ID badges and get information
about buses and the cafeteria,"
Principal Mike Williams said.

along with each student's enroll-
ment form, school officials said.
Students should bring the enroll-
ment form and an updated immu-
nization record to the event at the

Seminar on physical education, conference, bookfair planned for homeschoolers
Christian Educators Resource
Center is hosting the second annual
Physical Education Fair from 9
a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 11, at
the CERC in Rowlett,.
The P.E. Fair provides home
schoolers in the North East Texas
Area and other families the oppor-
tunity to learn about various physi-
cal education options, organizers
said. Representatives and coaches
from karate, basketball, soccer,
fencing, gymnastics, scouts, tennis,
dance, ice skating and bowling will
be at the fair to meet the kids and
their families.
"In home schooling, it is some-
times difficult to find out about
extracurricular activities. This is a
great way to get to know different
sports and activities available for
our kids," explained one mom.
There will be door prizes, a
bounce house and refreshments.
A family can pre-register by call-
ing CERC at 972-475-4138 to
obtain a registration form and to be
entered in a special drawing.
The P.E. Fair is to be held at
3810 Industrial St.. Ste. 300,
