Cub day camps are often accused
of overorganizing the kid's day.
That's not the routine at
Cincinnati's Camp Friedlander.
There are ample periods for a
quiet moment of fishing or
maybe just looking for a box
turtle. The rest of the day is
filled with a grab bag of events
like a full aquatics program,
including rowing a lifesize
boat or blowing a miniature
raft to victory down a flooded
raingutter racecourse. Few kids
leave without asking, "When can
I come back?"
