Scoutmaster proved he was as merci-
ful as he was brave when he warned
me that local tribesmen wanted to hold
a barbecue in my honor if my departure

The Black Eagle Lodge was quite
actively considering the distances in-
volved when they were invited to join
in numerous festivals, parades and
other lively events. At one of the lodge
conferences held near Dahn, Germany,
the American "Indians" held a special
Kinder Parade for all the German chil-
dren during the day and invited the
burgermeister (mayor) and all the
adults to attend the dance competition
