MAN'S GOOD WORKS
In November the parshloners of
of a Baptist church in a small
New York town, harvested two
acres of carrots planted last spring.
Termed "The Lord's Acre", the
yield of 1,000 bushel is to bring
money for the furtherance of a
world mission crusade. Topping
the carrots, sorting into bushel
baskets, these members will bring
about $2 800 Into its church for
the good work. From man's en-
deaver, by co-operation with his
fellows, his effort will spread the
gospel through a harvest of car-
rots, Benefits from the seed sown
in the name of the Lord, are here
demonstrated, Christianity is vital
to U. N. success, we read Well,
here is a church that has trans-
cended the harries with but two
acres of farmland
