My dear Aunt:
I was so glad to hear from you once more and to know your health is improving. I would have answered sooner but waited to get the signatures to the papers you sent. Mr. Stiles is one of my new neighbors and very kindly consented to attend to it for me. He belonged to the Army of Virginia but is a member of the camp here. He told me he remembered very pleasantly a visit to your home in eighteen seventy. Said he rode a mile and spent several days with uncle Milton. They were old Time friends (sic).
