OVERSTREET, MAY 25-
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sperry,
Mrs. Oily O'Neal and daughter,
Bessie, and son, Scott, Mr. and
Mrs. J. B, "Hrown, Grandma
Scott and Mrs. Lee took dinner
at the R. Hagan home. The
afternoon visitors were Masses
Imogene, Eva and Ruby Yates,
Roy Williamson, Neute Yates,
Art Lamunyon, Mr. J. A. \ ates
and son, Grove.
Mrs. George Martin, was taken
to Beaver,-Okla., last Wednesday
for treatment. She is going
again Wednesday and stay two
weeks. Mrs. Martin has rheu-
matism and we are in hopes she
can be cured.
Crowd wasn't very large out
at Sunday Scheol Sunday, two
of the teachers—Mrs. D. Arm-
strong and Miss Rosie Klingler
were absent. We want every-
body that can to come to Sunday
School.
There was a large crowd out
at Endeavor Sunday night. Mrs.
J. Adams is leader next Sunday

night. Everybody come that
wants to. You are invited!
Mrs. Hex Hagan and son, Ken-
neth, Grandma Scott and Rosie
Klingler visited the A. D. Mc*
Guire family, Mrs. Kate Costin
and the J. A. Yates family Mon-
day.
We are sorry to state that Mr.
Frank Taft passed* away early
Monday. He was operated on
for the appendicitie but was
taken to the hospital to late.
Art Lamunyon and family are
out here visiting his sister, Mrs.
J. A. Yates. Mr. Lamunyon is
in an awful bad shape. He has
tuberculosis of the bone. ..
Dewey Hagan and family spent
Saturday night and Sunday with
her folks Mr. and Mrs. L. D.
Chappel and family.
Miss Julia Chappell is visiting
her sister, Mrs. G. D. Hagen:
Charley Hagen, has opened up
the Speeremore, Okla., Garage.
