Sunday afternoon.
H. R. Laubhan went to Okla-
homa City, Oklahoma Tuesday
where he will attend to some
business matters and expects to
be gone a few days.
Elnor Mullberry, Opal Casey,
Miss Leatherman, Mrs. Styrgln
and Mr. Cossinger of Laverne,
Oklahoma were guests of Marie
Wright Sunday night.
Edd Puis" of Booker, was in Fol-
lett Fridlay afternoon for a few
hours shaking hands with friends
fiere and while in town attended
to some business matters. Come
again.
Dr. Mynear, of Perryton was in
town Tuesday morning bringing
Mrs. Hunt to visit her daughter,
Mrs. Geo. Foster and family. She
has been taking treatments of
Dr. Mynear for paralysis and
complications. Her friends lare de-
lighted to see her so much im-
proved, after resting and visiting
she will return to Perryton to
take more treatments, she Is very
hopeful of becoming able to walk.
Those who attended the Bap-
tist Associiational meeting at Per-
ryton, on Tuesday, Feb. 15th from
Follett were: Mr. and Mrs. Edd
Clark, Mrs. Cowelly and Mrs. H.
R. Laubhan.
Kenneth (Chub) McGlbbon of
Perryton was a very pleasant Fol-
lett visitor and sight-seer for a
■few hours Monday and while here
■■attended to some business mat-
ters*«on the side.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Terrel of
Darrouzett were very pleasant
Follett visitors for a short while
Saturday afternoon and while
here looked after some business
matters on the side.

Tuesday from the County Seat,
looking after some business mat-
ters and while in Follett visited
and shook hands with his many

and daughter, who have been vis-
iting friends and relatives in Fol-
lett for the past "month or so left
Friday morning for Sugar City,
Colorado. We are always glad to
have these good folks pay Follett
a visit just any time. y
Mrs. Minnie Jett of this place
and Mrs. Oscar Haines of
Sharon, Kansas sang a
very beautiful song Sun-
day morning during the pre-
aching hour with Mrs. Lester Mc-
Kee at the piarjp. At the evening
service the congregation wlas fav-
ored by a very beautiful song ren-
dered by four young men with Mr,
Christi at the piano. While the
Rev. M. O. Childress pastor of
the Methodist church brought two
inspiring sermons both morning
and evening.

The Follett High School Band
played at the Follett Theatre last
Wednesday night, February 9th,
at 7:15. The band under the dire-
ction of R. H. Moser made Foll-
ett proud of their progress. They
plan to play quite often at the
Theatre on Wednesday nights.
The regular meeting of the
Eastern Star was held at the
Masonic Hall Tuesday night, Feb-
ruary 15th in Follett at 7:30 P.
M., with a number of officers and
members present. Those present
were: Mrs. Ruth Flming, Mrs. A.
C. Teter, Mrs. A. C. Cofcney, Miss
Ruth Gex, Mr. Frank Barnes,
Mrs. Lewis Hill, Mrs. Geo. Travis,
Mrs. N. D. Thompson, Mrs.
Willis Crump, Mrs. John Gex,
Mrs. Filank Barnes, Mrs. S. F.
Cross, Mrs. Carl Brown
and Miss Etjiel Skaggs.
The next meeting of the
Chapter will be on Tuesday night,
March 1st, at 7:30 P. M., and our
Deputy will be with us
Wednesday night, February 23rd.
It is hoped that all officers and
members will keep 'these meet-
ings In mind and be present.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Haines and
family of Sharon, Kansas spent
the week-end In Follett visiting In
the home of Mr. Haines's daugh-
ter, Mrs. Dale Hell and family
and while here attended services
at the Mthodlst church here Sun-
day morning. Come again folks.
Mr. ahd Mrs. F. B. Sumpter
and son, Miles df Perryton were
in , Follett Sunday visiting their
matw friends here. The Sumpter
family are former residents of
this city and naturally have many
friends here who are glad to see
them just any old time' Come

Last Friday night, February 11th
the Rev. J. C. McKenize, of Am-
ttrilto, this State preached his
first sermon to a large congre-
gation at the Baptist church here
in Follett. The evangelist is a
prc-lacher of wide experience and
has been successful in evangelist
work. We are told that fair
crowds have been attending the
revival meeting since it started
last Friday night. The evening
services start at 7:30 P. M., so
folks if you haven't had the
pleasure of hearing this splendid
preacher, preach the word from
the "Book of Books" by all me-
ans plan to do so. As it has been
said before a good preacher with
a good message ought to receive
a good hearing. You and yours
are cordially invited to attend this
series of meeting >
the Judge we have always found
him to be a fair iand square shoot-
er. Your always welcome to call on
the Judge at any time to discuss
any of the County Problems, you
can always feel like that your
welcome and you may depend up-
on what he has to say. You can
feel sure that If he is re-elected
for the office of County Judge, he
will continue his faithful service
for all Lipscomb County, Just as«
he has been doing for the past

OF HIGGINS DIES
HIGGINS,* Feb. 15 (Special)—
Funeral services for Mrs.. Myra
Dickenson, 03 years old, wife of
former Lipscomb County Judge C.
A. Dickenson of Booker, were
held Sunday afternoon at View
Point community Church. She
died while visiting at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hal-
brook, Houston, Mo. after a brief
illness. Mrs. Dickenson, whose
father M. L. Dally, was the first
treasurer of Ochiltree County, was
a resident of this section for many
years. Survivors other than her
husband and daughter are one
son, Milledge Dickenson, Ardmore,
Okla.; four grandchildren, Mary
Ann Dickenson, Ardmore, Mary
Elizabeth, J. R. Junior and Char-
les William Halbrook of Houston,
Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie
Robb, Salina, Kans., Mrs. Nora
Williams, Forgan, Okla., Sister
Annette Da^Jy, Kansas City; five
brothers J. U. Daily, Grand Can-
yon, Colo., J. A. Daily, Carter,
Wyo., H. L. Daily, Higgins, M. E.
Daily, Hoisington, Kan,, and
Frank Daily of Scottsville, Kans.
Interment was in the Logan cem-
