The Follett Lions had an inter-
esting meeting Monday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hendricks
were Follett traders and visitors
Friday.
Mrs. Elver Glasgow, of this
place was a Perryton visitor Tu-
esday.
Lew's Roll, was up from Lips-
comb Friday taking in the foot-
ball game.
W. H. Lance, of Perryton, was
among the football admirers in
Follett Friday.
Mrs. Arve Hightower, of this
plac was a Perryton visitor Tu-
esday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Schwope
attrnded services at the Methodist
Church here Sunday night.
Cleve Hughes, was over from
Higgins Friday mixing among
Follett's good folks for a short
time.
Several of Follett's good folks
attended Hallowe'en Party and
Dances Wednesday and Thurs-
day of this week.
Mrs. Otis Travis, living in the
east part of town, motorec! to
Perryton Tuesday for a short
time on business.
Several of Follett's folks mot-
ored to Higgins to hear Bud Rob-
inson, deliver a talk at the M. E
Chin.h Thursday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Chance Shahan,
living south of here, were in Fol-
lett Friday morning attending
the funeral of their niece, Murl
Deeds.
Wm. Brown and family were
among those trading and mix-
ing among Follett's good folks
Saturday afternoon, from north-
east of here.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parker,
were attending the Deeds funeral,
at the Baptist Church Friday
morning from their home south-
east of here.

Monday, October 29th, 1934.
Mr. Carl Dishen was at Fair*
view, Oklahoma, on business last
Tuesday.
Mrs. Chris Melzer and children
were visiting with Mrs. Dishen
and children a short time Tues-
day afternoon.
"The Larkey boys sons of Mr.
and Mrs. Paul Larkey, are very
glad to go to school again, they
had to be discontinued going to
school for a long time on accunt
of sickness.
Mrs. Chris Melzer and son,
Melvin Steve, were visitors at the
new Home School last Thursday
afternoon. The teacher said.t
I'Come back again, I always en- J
joy visitors."

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Melzer and
family were Sunday guests at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Batt,
living near Shattuck, Oklahoma,
last Sunday, while visiting with
other relatives also. All had a
very nice time.
Miss Agnos Kinzelt, living near
Darrouzett and Lydia Myer and
Mollie Myer, were guests of Miss
Josephine Melzer, living northeast
of Follett, last Wdnesday. All had
a jolly time, upon the depart-
ure of the guests, Josephine said,
"Come back again."
Miss Josephine Melzer living
northeast of Follett spent the days
from Wednesday until Saturday
with Miss Agnes Kinzelt, living
near Darrouzett. These two Misses
had a most enjoyable time to-
gether, and here's hoping you will
have a similar dandy time again,
soon.
Our friend, Bill. Shelden, living
•north of town, dropped Into the
Times office the last of the week,
and said "Put my son, Gordon
on your list, send him back copies
containing Football news." Which
we did, and here's hoping that
by now he knows just what a
good team of boys Follett has.
Gordon is with a C. C. Camp at
Potozonia, Arizonia. Congratula-
tions, Gordon, the Tinges will be
with you on schedule each week.

services of Mrs. J. M. William-
son, from out of town were: Mr.
and Mrs. Bernard Detwyler and
Mrs. - Putman, of Pratt, Kansas.
Homer Price and family, of Can-
yon. Texas; Henry Price and fam-
ily of Tulia, Texas; Everett Oak-
ly and family and H. Q. Warren,
of Speermore, Oklahoma; Dr.
Mil'er and wife, of Beaver, Okla-
homa; C. H. V. Earl, of Guy-
mon, Oklahoma; Rev. R. W. Mar-
tin. of Gage, Oklahoma, and
Bobby Williamson.

A nice attendance was out to
Sunday School and remained to
the church services to hear the
opening and Inspiring message
delivered by Follett's new M. E.
Pastor, Rev. Geo. B. Baker, who
set many too thinking as he
brought out his theme "What are
we Worth". Mrs. Dale Hell ren-
dered a beautiful solo, which was
greatly appreciated. The duet by
Mrs. Courtney and Minnie Jett,
at the evening service was very
touching. m
A Red Cross meeting was held
at the City Hall TueSOay after-
noon.
A nice attendance was out to
the Mid-week service Wednesday
everting. You are invited to be
with us at these services.
Minnie Jett will be hostess to
the Ladies Aid Thursday at her
home.

Mrs. A. C. Teter accompanied

where Cecil Teter consulted with

close of the meeting.
The attendance at this meeting
was only fair, those who were
