ado, where Milton will spend a
month or two resting and will be
under the Doctors care there. We
understand that Milton was

Obituary
Arthur Chester Larkey was
born to Alexander and Emily Ann
Larkey at High Point, Iowa,
March 25th, 1883 and died at
Shattuck, Oklahoma, Hospital
June 25th, 1938 aged 55 years and
3 months. His parents moved to
Kingman County, Kansas in Nov-
ember of the year he was born
and later, in 1894, to near Cleo
Springs, Okla. While a young!
man he filed on land in Wood-1
ward Co. Okla., near the Texas
line or what is now Ellis County (
and he has lived in this vicinity
for most of his life. He married
Pluma Donovan of Ivanhoe, Okla.
and they moved to Colorado for a
short time (a year or two) but
after the birth of their eldest
child, returned to Texas. At the
time of his death he was living
with his family on his farm near
Curtis, Okla. To this union was
born Chadwick, Zane and Claire.
He leaves to mourn his loss his
wife, Pluma and their three sons,
Chadwick, Zane and Claire. He
was one of eleven children, nine
of whom survive, the youngest
Pauline Paine of Kim, Colorado
having passed away six years ago.
The brothers and sisters who are
left to mourn his loss are Mrs.
W. P. Freeman, Darrouzett, Tex-
as, Carl Larkey, Stinnett, Texas,

and Milton as far as Las Animas,
where Keith will visit his brother,
Roy awhile and where he will also
take in the sights there. Mrs.
Laubhan returned Tuesday morn-
ing to her home here. The Times
Staff hopes that Milton will be
feeling all OK before many days.
