just enough pep and frivolity into

A 6 o'clock a joint business aes-
sion was held at Moshay's Tea
Room. Mr. Sam Calhoun extended
hearty welcome to the visiting
club. Messrs. Hodge "Tots" Bul-
locks, Noble and Girdy brought out
interesting points on "Ideals of the pray tell, is the happy secret?
Progressive Clubs."
After a very successful meeting

honor of Mrs. James Oliver at the

as the charming Bessie Robinson,

in as much as ability concerned. Mr.

er election the social hour was

was played and prizes awarded to

Helen Phillips, Consolation, Mary
Howard. 1st prize men, Leslie Wil-

James Osborne, Clarence Muse and

The Royal Knights met with
Herbert Buffin as host. Meeting
was called to order by the presi-
dent. During the business session,
many new plans were discussed in-
cluding plans for a social to be held
at a later date. One nfw member
was added and the guests number-
ed three. The host served a de-
licious iced course. Next meeting 1
will be at the home of Audrey 1
Fuery, at 117 Runge street.

sembled in the home of Mrs. Dixie
Brownlow with Mrs. Brownlow and

evening was spents in socialising,
