CLEANING YOUR GOLD
So ery often you aee an individ-
ual with quite a bit of gold in the
anterior part of the mouth that has
become dull or apparently tar-
nished, which leads one to baliava
that tha gold ia of an inefrior qual-
ity and such opinion ofttimes reacts
on tha dentist in that It is believed
he (the dentist) has gypped the pa.
tienL
This condition is due in practical-
ly every case to neglect. Your gold
should be cleaned and polished just
aa your ahoes. The food accumula-
tions if allowed to remain on the
surfacea of the gold will truly pre-
sent an unsightly as well as un-
sanitary mouth. One should at the
close of the day cleanse the mouth
with a toth brush and use a mouth
wash asaidualy. Then uaing a flan-
nel cloth upon which haa been
placed a polishing powder rub on
surface of the gold until ita bril-
liance has been reatored.
Don't blame your dentist ahould
your gold "turn" at it ia called but
atribute if unsightly aspect to neg-
ligence and laziness.
