Troy took a 1925 license
plate. He got the "latest
model."
Investigation by Olan
reveals that one was a 1918
model, "the oldest one on
record at the court house."
It Is a large tag with "Tex"
inscribed.
The other plate, Wallace
says, has "Texas" down
either end.
After finding the three
antique auto plates in
"early January," Oian has
repainted them for preser-
vation purposes. He did
intensive investigation to
determine what year the
older two tags were issued.
