Watermelon Fest Royalty Announced
At the Queens Revue in
McDade on June 19, Natalie
Owen, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Gary Owen was elected
to reign as Tiny Tot Queen
for 1976. Natalie is four
Barbara Wusterhausen
years old and has no sib-
tings. Her king will be
William Wotf. son of Mr. and
Mrs. Dan Wolf. Five year
old William will be attending
kindergarten in the fall.
"The newly-elected Teen-
age Queen is Barbara
Wusterhausen. daughter of
Mrs. Richard Black and Mr.
August Wusterhausen.
Barbara is 15 years old and
will be a sophomore at
Lexington High School.
She has four brothers.
Charles Scott Bennett, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ben-
nett, will reign as her king.
He has one brother and two
sisters and will be attending
Elgin High School in the fall.

issued an appeal for all local
dubs and organizations to
enter floats in the parade to
will be held Saturday, July 3,
at 4 p.m.
Registration for parade
entries wiD begin at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Sjpithvillc
Dairy Queen. The parage
will begin at 4 p.m.. follow-
ing Main street from 1st to
5th Streets.
The McKeowns invited
everyone in. Smithville to
carry an American flag and
march with the parade, or to
decorate a bicycle and ride
along with the marchers.
All ages — from senior
citizens to toddlers — are
urged to participate in the
parade celebrating the 4th.

Auditor to disburse the
money from the sale of
Fayette County Permanent
School bonds, according to
bids received in the Special
Session of April 30. 1976.
