Yes, we have had hne rains all over Shackelford county, no floods,, but
good Steady pour down*, about five or six inches, hence an excellent season,

county's white limestone court house, the grassy lawn and the meaqoito
trees was the screen that God and man fashioned, and when the 1'ivino

flection of the sun ray-i on this canvas w«s sublime, then wonder of won-
ders, a sunbeam glistenul in a raindrop, and this Divine Artift flung a
seven lined rainbow frame around this sublime picture, and dumb-liki,
stood and marveled at the mystic wonders of creation.
