Feilpe Carrasce
He was born in Alpine, Texas in March 24, 1897. He
attended a school in Alpine till he was in the fifth grade.
He quit school and start to work, at the age of 21 he got a
job with the railroad an the Southern Pacific Teroiinal.
He mar-red- my . grandmother in 1919, at the Catholid
Church of Marfa. Later in that year he was transfered to San
Antonio. They lived there for .two years. He asked for a
transfer to Ap:ina but it -was n61 given to him. In the early
part of 1922 he was asked that the closest they could get him
transfered was to Marfa, so they moved to Marfa in Feb. 1922.
In this picture he is shown with some of he's friends
in San Antonio. This picture was taken in San Antonio, Texas
in 1920. He -&iae4^-;39%57 aear working fIor the railroad,
He was the son Of Mr. & Mrs. Tomas Carrasco of Alpine.
Feilpe mother died in 1934. He's father died of some disease:
in Alpine in 190. Feilpe died in 1923. Then my grandmother
married kgaina in 1925.
