8 o'clock In the achool auditorium,
with the president. Mrs. Hay Hrown,
presiding. Mrs. Ethel L. Mimmit was
chairman of the program, that fea-
tured a Christmas play, by the third
and fourth grade pupils. Mrs. Hrown
and Mrs. Green made full reports on
the state P-TA conference hold in
Midland, recently. They were dele-
gHtes from Grant's P-TA.
Among the visitors were Rev. and
Mrs. Van House, of 8t. James AME
church.
The third grade, under Mrs. Joyce
Thompson, won the banner for hav-
ing thf largest number of parents
present. , , , .
Mrs. Ha liner T. Oliver, principal,
made timely remarks. Refreshments
were served in the library-music room
of the school.
