A CHARGE of "indecent fondling" of a seven-year-old girl
waa filed against a 42-year-old North Monumental street
man, Tuesday, after the man's common-law wife had accused

Minor Violence
San Antonio was bit by an out-
break of minor violence, and law-
breaking, during the past week end,
that underscored family rows.
Mrs. Helen Dunu, 21, .'MO South
Olive street, was severely bruised
in an altercation, Thursday morning,
Nov. 5, with her husband, Clinton
Dunn, 34. Dunn said that hia wife
started the fracas when she hit him
on the back of his head with a cup,
a divorce.
The accused manr also is mar-
ried, und has not been divorced, ei-
ther.
The woman said that he had at-
tended a movie, and, when she re-
turned. her hutband took an unn«iuil-
ly long time in opening the door.
She noticed something was amis*,

molested baby sitters that she had

a field of five for the two seats to
be filled in January on the school
board.
Both victories were considered sig-
nificant. Simmons polled 42.1 Nit votes
in the unofficial returns. TTiere are
about 15.000 registered Negro voters
in Toledo.
Dr. Brown, endorsed by the Demo-
cratic party and seven other groups,
polled 45,237 votes.
Simmons waa one of four Demo-
crats in the current council rejected
by the party because the.v would not
back the Democratic-sponsored strong-
mayor proposal. Two yeara ago, with
the party's backing. Simmons fin-
ished fourth. lie was first elected to
council in 1945 and has been re-
elected for two-year terms ever since
with the eiception of 1051.
Dr. Brown ia a graduate of Me-
harry Medical college and Lincoln
university. He has been practicing in
