f The Spring Styles In
Matthews' Clothing
An Authoritative
Display for Men
Never before in the history of this
store have we shown such a large
stock of real good clothes for men.
For months we've been preparing
for this Spring Display, and we have
spared no pains to make the showing
worthy of the admiration ot every
wearer in Dallas County.
W e show the product of America's
largest manufacturers—Clothes for
men and young men, modeled upon
exclusive and advanced designs, and
distinctly expressive of the clever-
est fashion ideas of the moment.
The fabrics are assuredly striking
and attractive, with every trait of
refinement.
The prices, as always, are as low
as equal style, quality, fit and work-
manship can be sold anywhere.
Good Suits $15.00, $18.00, $20.00 and $25.00
Population of Dallas County
By Precincts and Towns f
Below is given the population
of Dallas county, by precincts
and towns, as shown by the Cen-
sus Department, the report for
Texas being received by us
from Washington this week.
The population of Grand Prairie
is not shown for the' years 1900
and 1890, for the reason that
those towns were not incorporat-
ed then. Neither does the re-
port show the population of
Seagoville, Cedar Hill, Richard-
son, Irving and other smaller
places, as none of them are in-
corporated:

KICKED BY A MAD HORSE
Samuel Birch, of Beetown
Wis., had a most narrow escape
from losing his leg, as no doctor
could heal the frightful sore
that developed, but at last Buck-
len's Arnica Salve cured it com-
pletely. Its the greatest healer
of ulcers, burns, boils, eczema,
scalds, cuts, corns, cold-sores,
bruises and piles on earth. Try

Mesquite May Get Another
Gin.
It is very probable that Mes-
quite will have another gin by
the time this year's crop is
ready to gather, as Bedford Gal-
loway has had the matter under
advisement for some time. When
asked about the matter one day
this week, Mr. Galloway did not
state positively that he would
put up the gin, but from his con-
versation, we concluded that it
was very likely that the gin will
be built.
If it is built it will be located
on the pike road at the northwest
corner of his property north of
the Methodist church.
Por Sale—Pine young cow, giv-
ing about 4 gallons milk per day,
has fine heifer calf. Also a few

CALOMEL GIVES ONLY
TEMPORARY RELIEF
So Powerful It Shock* Liver and Leaves It
Weaker Than Before. Dodaoo's Liver-
Tone a Perfect Substitute.
Nearly everybody who has
tver tried calomel for constipa-
tion or a sluggish liver has found
that it gives only a temporary
relief. Por calomel is such a
powerful drug that it shocks
and weakens the liver and makes
it less able afterward to do its
duty than in the first place.
This is one of the reasons why
Cullom & Chapman's drug store
would rather sell sell Dodson's
Liver-Tone to you than calomel.
We know that Dodson's Liver-
Tone is a pure vegetable liver
tonic that will cure constipation
