We are informed that one of
the young lady assistant.* in the
Moran public school will teach a
private chool in Moran, begin
ning the second Monday in
March. This is right as four
months si hool out of twelve is
entirely too short for the intel-
lectual training of the young
minds.
The young folks of Moran had
a dance last Fridav night at Mr.
Jno. Kane's. Everyone enjoyed
it very much.
The Teachers' Institute will
will meet the last Saturday in this
month in Moran.
The young folk enjoyed them
selves much during the cold snap,
playing snowball all the time.
