CISCO The Cisco Junior Col-
lege, organized as a unit of the
Cisco public school system, will
open for its first term on Septem-
ber !h The college, offering first
and -oeond year college courses to
high school graduates in this sec-
tion, will be housed in the plant
formerly occupied by Itaridolph
College, and recently purchased b;
the Cisco public school system.
All standard college course* wi!
be taught by competent instruct
ors. Kach department will be head
ed by a professor with a Master o
Arts degree of high degree.
Four thousand dollars have been
raised by Cisco business men to
purchase a library and laboratory
equipment sufficient to more than
meet requirements of the state ac-
crediting authorities. All other re-
quirements of the State Depart-
ment of Kducatioli have been met.
Tuition rates are low, and may
In paid monthly. A system of bus
transportation reaching into every
corner of the area which the col-
lege will serve offers opportunities
for hundreds of students to live at
home and attend college with
slight cost.

Reports of the heavy toll taken
by motor cars on Texas highway*
continue to pour into the executive
secretary of the Game depart-
ment. The latest ' is from the
game warden of Colorado county
who, in 100 miles of driving re-
cently saw the following dead on
the highway: a doe deer, 9 cot-
tontail rabbits, one swamp rabbit,
one kunk, one armadillo, 2 bull-
frog and a dog.
