THOUSANDS SEE PARADE
AND FANDANGLE
Thursday, Friday and Saturday
were Fandangle days in Albany,
and Albany people had visitors by
the thousands.
It is estimated that between
five and six thousand people .saw
the Fandangle.
Another -ix thousand saw Fri-
day' Fandangle parade, which was
at a :00 p. in., w ith (iov. Allan
Shivers, a lion e giie t of Mr. and
Mr V. M llowsley, riding at the
head of the parade
The mile-long column contain-
ed .scores of floats and ancient ve-
hicle.-, and hundreds of horses and
riders.
Thursday night's Fandangle was
the only performance not com-
pletely sold out. Friday night
all available .standing room was
taken up. Saturday evening'; per
fonnance saw all seat, sold, and
ev era I hundred standing.
Entertaining Story
Hob Nail, author and director
of the Fandangle, had as the theme
tin. year, "Pioneer Young Peo-
ple," and the story carried them
from infancy to old age on the
prairie Master of lory and
Paging, Mr. Nail wove a story
that vva beautiful and entertain-
im.', and the ready response from
the big .audiences atte ted to the
I'ai t that the crowd love the Fan
dan vie, il > ong. , dance , pauto
mime , millh and tragedie .
