Cream
Since cre am is so very cheap,
we use a great deal of it in our
Viome. It is much e>asior to use in
the- natural form Than To churn it
into butter. Here- are- our favorite
recipe-:
Sour Cr* m CaW* Heat three
eggs until light, add 1 cupful of
sugar, beat well. To 2 cupfuls of
sifte d flour, add 1 teaspoonful of
baking powder, I Te-aspoonful each
of cloves and cinnamon. Add al-
tornately wiTh 1 8-4 cupful# of
-our cre-am To oirp r ixture: lastly
add 1 cupful of slightly floured
raisins, bake in Two layers in mod-
erate oven for about 25 minutes.
Put together with sour cream
icing.
Sour Crram Icing-—Take 1-2
cupful of sugar, 1 tablespoonful
of flour, 1 cupful of sour cream.
