Has Supper
The young people's class of the
Metnodist Sunday school met Sun-
day evening at the Annex for a
•Upper, consisting of hamburgers,
cold drinks, potato chips and cook
lea, after which songs were direct-
ed by R. E. McKlskl. Following
the Ring-song, the class attended
church.

Iris were on the piano.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a floor length
gown of lace and net over Ivory
slipper satin. The long bodice was
of lace with high round neck and
long fitted sleeve and fastened in
back with small satin covered but
tons from neck to bottom of
bodice.
Her finger-tip length veil of net
was held In place with cluster of
real carnations at each side. Her
only ornament was a diamond
Invalier. gift of the bridegroom,
and she carried ail arm bouquet of
pink rosebuds tied with rose satin
ribbon.
Loma Fern Hearn, sister of the
bride and her maid of honor,
wore an aqua taffeta styled with
sweetheart neck, basque wai-t and
full kirt. Iter corsage was of
pink carnations, and she carried a
large white chiffon evening hand-
kerchief.

ign Charles E. Jacobs is to take
place here Monday, April 2, was
given Tue. day at the Max Evers-
berg, Jr., home when Mrs. Evers-
berg, Mi . L. F. Hooker and Mrs.
Guy Caldwell were hostesses for
a luncheon. Pink, white and yel-
low napdragons in silver bowl
centered the buffet table and small
crystal howls of pansies the quar-
tet tallies where guests were seat-
ed. Calla and Easter lillies dec-
orated the rooms.
Following the luncheon games
of rummy and bridge were played.

officer on a British Mosquito at-
tached to the Mil Air Force, is just
home from England where he had

Mrs. Key, Mi-s fanfleld and Patsy
Dye, who spent the week-end
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Cecil Dye, returned to the univer-
