Why pay more later
for needed gas heating equipment?
Whenever, wherever one has the opportunity
to save money it is good business to do so.
Perhaps that's the reason why so many South-
western home-loving people are taking advan-
tage of this Summer Sale of improved gas
heating equipment! It is the annual sale of your
gas company. It is a real money-saving oppor-
tunity. Generous price reductions on floor
furnaces, circulating heaters and room heaters
offer the inducement to plan your winter com-
fort early. Thus, avoiding the last minute rush.
At no other time this year will your gas com-
pany prices be so low.

I RBANDALi: CIVIC ASS \
The citizens of Urbandale recently
organized a Civic Association with
J. A. Wynes us President. At last
Friday nights meeting, association
members discussed the question of
being annexed to Dallas, and heard
an offer from an engineering firm
to aid in installing sewer lines in
that area.
President Wynes also appointed a
committee headed by W. C. Christen-
sen, to check the possibilities of
having Parkdale, Urbandale and Mil-
itary Park set off as a separate fire
district so that if its record justifies,
it may obtain lower rates. At pres-
ent the sections' insurance takes
the rural rate. Meetings will be
held every Friday night at 8 p. m.,
nt Urbandale. The citizens of Urban-
dale are to be congratulated on the
school organizing for the upbuilding
of their district.
In this connection there has been
considerable talk looking toward the
organizing of a live-wire civic asso-
ciation in the Pleasant Grove dis-
trict.
