At a point on the Dallas-
Seagoville paved road, be-
tween the Sheppard home
and Rylie and near the Hick-

touring car, westbound, was
about to pass them when a
larger car. going in the same
direction, struck the Ford an 1
knocked it against the young
ladies, who were at the side
of the roadway ami off the
paved section. The larger car
was occupied by some white
women and driven by a negro
chauffeur. This car failed to
stop and it reported that be-
fore they reached Dallas they
ran into and injured three
boys, but we could not verify
this.
When the Ford car was
throvPn against them. Miss lla
received the fcrce of the blow
and she was knocked about
ten feet and rendered uncon-
scious. The other two girls
were only slightly injured.
The yjing ladies were
taken to the Shenpard home
on a passing truck and Dr

Low cotton is the talk of the day.
We all know there must be some-
