HY'A HELLCATS !
HONORARY HELLCAT
Many thanks to all who remembered this
Headquarters with Xmas cards and greetings.
Thanks too, for the many appreciated compli-
ments.
We hope this new style of publication will meet
with your approval. We welcome any and all
comments. Remember, it's YOUR paper and it
is our endeavor to put it out as YOU want it.
SOUVENIR MAPS
This Headquarters has a number of 12th AD
maps, depicting the route and battles from Le
Havre and Auffay to the conclusion of the fire-
works. Every HELLCAT should have one of
these splendid souvenirs and we'll gladly send
one to you on request.
We were pleased to see in the December 12th
issue of LIFE a photo of Brigadier Gen. JAQUES
DE LA BOISSE (Military Attache-French Em-
bassy). General DE LA BOISSE (then Colonel)
thoughtfully sent us a telegram of well wishes
prior to the Reunion and later wrote and lunched
with ED SEILLER. General is making every
effort to have the 12th awarded the esteemed
CROIX DE GUERRE ! The General has been
made an honorary HELLCAT.
The same issue of LIFE also mensioned Gen.
LATTRE DE TASSIGNY as the number one sol-
dier of France. HELLCATS will remember ser-
ving under the command of Gen. TASSIGNY in
January of 1945.
