issue you asked for suggestions on membership. Up until now you have
always':had Unit Representatives. • I feel this should-be subdivided to
have representatives down to Company level. A more personal contact
can be made. In line with this I'll volunteer for C Troop, 92nd0 .How-
ever my biggest brainstorm which came to me on the way over here was
State representatives. I see in your Sept issue that this is being
started informally. Tell Wes Gardiner that I'll split the cost of New
York's rost'er; with "him. I will also pay f or the roster on Tenn« if
some one -else doesn't already have it. How about dropping Jim Brown a
line and seeing if he won't take over N. Car.-. (I'd do it with him if I
were "Still at" Fort Bragg.) Schoenthal should-take Florida, Wayne King,
Pennsylvania, Sonntag could do California. Tell them you and I are
challenging them-to show what their state has to show for itself. If
ITm all wet just forget it but 1*11 still take Tenn. and share New York
with Wes. Gardiner. Let me*know':how much. '■ " . . ,
