BY-LAWS
REVISIONS
An insert has been included in
this edition to update your record
of our By-Laws, in line with
amendments approved by the
Executive Council in their July
7th and 8th, 1982 meetings at
Stouffer's Riverfront Towers, St.
Louis, Missouri.
These revisions, and dates of
approval are as follows:
ART IV Sec. 4 (a) - DUTIES OF
OFFICERS - President (Revised
July 7th, 1982) Added item (3) to
Sec. 4 (a) to provide the Presi-
dent with more flexibility in dele-
gating the responsibility of Editor
of the Hellcat News. This does not
constitute a change in the duties
of the Executive Secretary.
Rather, it enables the Pesident to
assign the editorial duties to
another individual, should he
deem it necessary.
ART IV Sec. 4 (d) - DUTIES OF
OFFICERS - Treasurer (Revised
July 7th, 1982) Item (2) of 4 (d) -
Replaced the fifty dollar ($50.00)
limitation with a one hundred
dollar ($100.00) limitation on pay-
ments to be made without the
majority approval of the Execu-
tive Council. This revision was
prompted by the finlationery
trend, and was enacted to reduce
the instances of referral of expen-
ditures to the Executive Council
for approval.
ART IV Sec. 4 (e) - DUTIES OF
OFFICERS - Executive Secre-
tary (Revised July 8th, 1982) 1st
Paragraph: Revised to read "The
Executive Secretary shall be re-
sponsible for the records of the
corporation and the Executive
Council, and at the discretion of
the President, shall act as Sec-
retary to both bodies." This re-
vision ties in with the previous
amendment under Sec. 4 (a),
which provides the President with
more lattitude. In this instance,
the President may utilize the ser-
vices of the Executive Secretary,
or he may appoint another indi-
vidual to fulfill these duties at the
general business meeting, or the
Executive Council meeting.
Add sub-paragraph 4a to read
"At his discretion, the President
may appoint another member of
the association to act as Editor of
the Hellcat News. The remunera-
tion of this duty will be deter-
mined by the Executive Council."
(Refer to the above amendment
under Sec. 4 (a), which dictated
the addition of this sub-paragraph
under the duties of the Executive
Secretary.)
Amended Item (6) to read "To
forward to the corporation's trea-
surer at timely intervals, which in
no event shall exceed one (1)
month, all checks and monies re-
ceived on the behalf of the corpor-
ation." The purpose of this amend-
ment was to relieve the Execu-
tive Secretary of the burden of
being tied down at home in order
to transfer the funds of the
Treasurer each week. It does not
mean that funds will be held for a
full month, because the Secretary
will use discretion insofar as
scheduling trips during the period
of tremendous influx of member-
ship dues. In addition, he is
guided by the Executive Council,
where the authority is vested to
instruct the Secretary in this
respect.
Please remove the insert for
pages 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, and 13 and
insert this revision in your record
of Constitution and By-Laws, to
replace the present similar page
numbers.

The 36th Reunion as been
tucked into the past and it is our
hopes in as much as we haven't
heard any reports as yet, that it
was a most successful one and
that all who attended had a usual
great time.
Our association is about to close
out it's 37th year come Septem-
ber. As we go into our 38th, we
wish all our newly elected officers

the best and know they will carry
on in the usual fine Hellcat fashion
as their predecessors.
Ken Warnes after two most
successful terms as editor of the
HCN and recently Exec Sec has
now relinquished these positions
and are being taken over by
former 43rd Tank Bn Unit Rep,
Norb Bruemmer. In a note from
Ken informing me of this change,
he thanks me for being his
reporter while he was editing the
HCN.
And now is an appropriate time
to get in a commercial. A new
year means that it is renewal time
and dooz are due for the coming
year. Get those check books out
and if you can see fit, a donation
of any denomination will help less
fortunate Hellcats via the booster
fund. We hope you don't keep
putting it off and have to be
reminded with a delinquent notice
which spells trouble and more
work for the Exec Sec.
Stan Sarnocinski (714th Tank
Bn), one of the regulars at the
Eastern reunions who liven and
brighten this affair, sends a
"Sarn-O-Gram" from Creamery,
Pennsylvania after attending this
years fiasco in Stroudsburgh. He
states that he and wife Libby
were setting their plans on St.
Loo. He talked to Chairman John
Critzas and also George Moss and
was told things were really in
high gear. They remained in
Pennsylvania after the Eastern
reunion and were kept busy visit-
ing, dining and wining with
family, "A" Co. friends and hoped
to get together with Bert
Romano, Jeep Camarata (66 AIB)
and Fred Caravelli (82nd Med) for
dinner. Their stay was most plea-
sant as he did lots of planting and
landscaping for their three
daughter-in-laws, and daughter as
well. Lib enjoyed being with the
nine grand-kiddies and is eagerly
awaiting the arrival of number
ten. Stan saw the Philadelphia
76'ers put it to the Boston Cel-
tics in the basketball playoffs and
was hoping to see a Philadelphia
Phils baseball game before leav-
ing for St. Loo.
Wilbur Dunlavy (Div Hq/CCB)
sends a letter written on Father's
Day from Long Beach, Cal. He
includes his dues and booster and
tells us that on this day his two
sons and five grandchildren had
visited them and that he feels like
a king. Wilbur sends greetings
and can say for sure "It's Great
To Be A Hellcat" after attend-
ing the Western Chapter reunion
in Culber City, Cal. hosted by the
Robert Schwartz'. They were
great hosts along with Ken
Warnes and Bob Head and made
him feel so very welcome. Wilbur
attended the affair along as his
wife Avis is recovering from a
quadruple by-pass, and is happy
to report that she is getting along
well. The surgery occurred last
October. They celebrated their
40th anniversary January 31st.
On June 17th their first grand-
child Denise, graduated from
High School. They have another
granddaughter Kristi, who they
are very proud of, as she has done
modeling and has a T. V. commer-
cial to her credit. He closed his
