Jail, Recaptured Same Day
A prisoner at the Shack
elford County Jail escaped
early Friday morning, but
was apprehended later
the same day, reported
Sheriff Ben J. Riley.
Earl Wayne Kessinger,
34, who had been indicted
on a charge of armed rob
bery of the Pioneer Ser
vice Station on Hilltop in
Albany in February, 1982,
complained of a headarhe
at about 3:30 a.m. Friday
morning.

ficer.
Sheriff Riley, when
notified of Kessinger's ar
rest, returned the pri
soner to Albany where he
was charged with felony
escape, aggravated rob
bery, assault with a dead
ly weapon, and un
authorized use of a vehi
cle He is scheduled for
trial April 18.
