Some Paving
The City of Albany has pav-
ed the alley on the west side of
Main Street behind Thomas
Furniture Co. to the Masonic
Hall, and between the Masonic
Hall and the building occupied
by Joe Wanton.
Liston Todd, city manager,
reports there will be several
more blocks (mud in the city.
A block on Fisher Street,
from the Collier Moore home
west to Mrs. It. S. Hooker's
home will be paved, and a half
block on Fisher, fronting the
tlavis, Stanfleld and Forney
property, is to he paved.
Two blocks will be paved on
Cullum Street, along the prop-
erty of A. M. Jones, Mrs. M. G.
Nichols, J. M. Moore, W. O.

The city paves streets for 50c

the cost very reasonable. The

Everybody is interested in
the future of the Fandangle.
Here Is the latest information.
Plans for a 1!IB8 production
of the Fort (Jriffin Fandangle
are definitely in the making,
but the plans have to lie ten-
tative at present because, as
everyone knows, the show is
directly contingent upon the
availability of Robert Nail and
Alice Reynolds, The Abilene
group which proposed to move
the Fandangle to Abilene has
lost interest In that proposal.
It has, however, decided to do
an outdoor show all its own
and of a different kind, and
has offered Bob and Alice the
job of writing the new show.
If the Abilene project goes
through, Bob and Alice will he
paid for their work and can
hardly refuse to accept the
Abilene offer. In tlint event,
our show may have to be post-
poned a year.
If not, we are planning on
five performances given on two
consecutive week-ends next
summer. The idea for stretch-
ing the run of the show Is to

rive a greater benefit from the
production by bringing a larg-

dates are Friday and Satur-
day, June 10-20, and Thurs-
day, Friday and Saturday,
June 25-27, with a big Fan-
dangle parade on Thursday,

Because so many people
