An All-Wool
✓
Demonstration
ISext Saturday Afternoon in Our Window From Two to Six
O'clock, October the 29th
At the hours designated above we are going to make an all-wool demonstration in our Washington
street show window. We will make tests of samples of suits in out stock and many others—-showing
the percentage of cotton contained in many so-called all-wool goods.
An samples brought to usx>n this day will be tested free. It will be surprising to you to know how
much merchandise is put on the market for all-wool that in fact contains only a small portion of wool.
We have adopted this season an All-wool Policy. A sample of every suit that came in to our store
this season was put to the Chemical test, showing it to be ABSOLUTELY ALL-WOOL.
Many merchants sell clothes for all-wool cotton. They are honest about it for their
manufacturer sold them to them for all-wool but they haven't tested the cloth and don't really know
any better. When we say a piece of cloth is all-wool we know what we are talking about for we have
tested the cloth—the balance don't know.
There is as much impurity in clothes sold now days as there is impurity in foods. Why not a Pure Clothes Law
as well as a Pure Food Law?
This demonstration will be well worth your while for if you get nothing more out of it than learn how to distin-
guish Wool from Cotton your time has been well spent.
