After a delightful drive to the swim-
ming pool, they had an hour and a

After their play in the water, they
were tired and enjoyed a good break-
fast. They returned to Temple before
noon.

Camp To Be Permanent.
The twenty-two boy scouts who had
been encamped on Cedar creek in a
beautiful clearing along the banks
near the dam in the heart of a more
or less wild country, IX miles north-
west of here, tumbled into town yes-
terday at noon grumbling because

Dr. J. M. Murphy, who returned
from St. Louis last week where he at-
tended the American Medical society
meeting, announced yesterday that the
First Methodist church here has
closed a contract for a l'llcher pipe
organ which he looked at while in St.
Louis. The organ, to cost approxi-
mately $8,500, is one of the largest
church organs In the state. It will be
equipped with electro-pneumatic ac-
tion and will have two manuels in ad-
dition to a pedal organ. There are
five stops to the great ergon, ten to
the swell organ, and four to the P"d.il
organ, with six movement accessories.
It has 12 couplers and nine eo.nMt; w
