fore the first day of February 1947 to avoid penalty
Both men and women are required to pay their
poll tax Unpaid taxes are a lien upon any real or per-
sonal property you may come to own or come into
possession of
Those who were 60 years of age or more on Janl
1946 are not required to have an exemption to vote
those who have moved into the county since Jan 11946
are required to have an exemption those who have be-
come 21 years of age sine Jan 1 1946 or will become
21 before election are required to secure an exemp
tion certificate during January 1947 before they may
vote in any of the elections during theyear No charge
is made for these exemptions
In 1947 automobile license fees cannot be paid
before Feb 1 1947 but must be paid between Feb 1
1947 and April 1 1947
