Effective in January a slight change in the billing sys-
tem for your light and water department will be made
We respectfully call to your attention the following
wording which will appear on your bill for December
service and each month thereafter
This bill is now due and payable at the
office of the City Secretary If not paid be-
fore the 10th of the month service will be
discontinued and a charge of 100 for
water and 100 for lights will be made for
reconnecting
This changes the delinquent date from the 20th of each
month to the 10th The light and water department
belongs to you as a taxpayer and we want to run it on
a strictly business basis Bills not paid by the tenth
can cause a great and unnecessary expense to you as-
a taxpayer and we intend to enforce the credit ruling
without fear or favor We would appreciate your o
operation in promptly paying your bill when you re-
ceive it It will help us and by helping us it will save 1
you money

I dont have much to do so
thought I would write and tell
you that I am Betting the paper
okay Sometimes I get three or
four at a time but I get them
I got the Oct 17 issue today so
you can see how long It takes
to get here
Our squadrcn is moving to
China the tenth of December so
will send my new address as
soon as possible
I hear its getting cold back
there If it gets below 78 above
here Its cold to us The sun is
burning down all d y long and
it rains nearly all night
They also have a lot of ty-
phoons out here but weve been
lucky and missed all of them
