The many friends of Hon. R.
L. Henry in Bartlett and vicinity
will remember that he has an ap-
pointment to speak here Wednes-
day night Oct. 20. Of course
they will give him a largo audi-
ence. Yesterday afternoon at the
Lutheran church Mr. Albert Lin -demann
and Miss May Hill were
united in marriage by the pastor,
Rev. Gruober. The Tribune ex-
tends congratulations to the hap-
py couple.
The hobby-horse, the knife
man. the high-diving dog, the
negro dolls, the talking -machine
the striking machine and the
Lord only knows what else, have
been the attractions in Bartlett
during the past week.
Dr. Moores who 1 for some
months has been in Bartlett en-
gaged in the practice of dentis
try left this week for Tennessee
to locate. He,made many friends
during his sojourn here who re-
gretted hisdepafture.
Messrs. Stanton Allen and
Tom Poynor broke the record of
local sportsmen Wednesday af-
ternoon by bagging nine wild
duck out of a flock of eleven, and
they succeeded in wounding the
two they failed to kill.
J. J. Puddy has bought an in-
terest in the McKe nzie meat mar-
ket with H. A. W. Jenkines, and
the firm is now Puddy it Jenkines
Mr". Puddy is a first-class meat
cutter, and is well known to all.
Success to the new firm.

has donated to the pablio school,
S38.50 to be devoted to library,
maps, charts, etc The school
interest is eliciting the warm sup-
port of good women and good
citizens generally. With this
spirit Bartlett's sonool will soon
be the pride of all.
