being a suit in trespass to try

Whereas, by nn net of Di-
vine Providence, we are called
upon to lament' the death of
our worthy Brother, William
T. Peeey, who departed this
life Thursday, March 33rd,
1900. Born Feb. 11th, 1850.
However much beloved as a
Brother and respected as a
neighbor, reverened as a hus-
band and parent, it cannot
stay ths tide of death when the
Great Architect of the Universe
presents the summon.
Therefore, be it resoWed,
jtliat in the death of oar much
esteemed Brother, the commun-
ity has sustained the loss of
an honorable, useful and faith-
fnl citiseu, his family a kind
and affectionate husband and
father and our Fraternity an
esteemed and dearly beloved
Brother.
Resolved, that while we can
aot afford adequate consolation
to his bereaved family, we will
say that in the beautiful spirit
of the christian theology, "He
who tempers the wind to the
shorn land" looks down with
infinite eompassion on the wid-
ow and orphans ia ths hour of
their sad affliction, aqd we ten-
der to them ear heartfelt Sym-
pathy, consolation and assist-
ance. y.i
Resolved, that as a token of
reepeot te the memory -of eur
dearly beloved Brother* this
Lodge will wear the badge of
mourning, and that the Lodge
be draped for thirty days.
Received, that a copy of
these resolutions be entered on
oar Mlaata Book and a blank

and a duly certified copy un-
