Brandye D'Angelie Stennett and Brian William Goss exchanged wed-
ding vows Saturday, Oct 11, 1997 at the Harman-Y-House with the Rev.
Roger Foote, pastor of North Side Baptist Church, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stennett of Plainview and
the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Stennett of Lockney.
Goss is the son of Betty and Loyd Law of Plainview and Carl and Sue
Goss of Tulia. He is the grandson of Mary Wood of Tulia and Gladys Goss
and the late Herbert Goss of Tulia.
Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a white satin gown
designed with a fitted bodice, flared skirt and chapel train. The sleeveless
princess style gown featured a scoop neckline and satin rosettes at the back
waist.
She carried an arm bouquet of white collar lilies, bear grass and springeri
with trailing Moderi ribbons. The bride gave each mother and grandmother
a single rose bud before the ceremony.
Jamie Denison of College Station was maid of honor and Vfcki Dizrtian
of Plainview was bridesmaid. They wore black crepe tea length dresses with
scoop necklines and empire bodices. Each held a single calla lily and bear
grass tied with a Midori ribbon.
Michael Goss, brother of the groom, was best man and Kevin Goss, also
brother of the groom, was a groomsman. They are both of Plainview.
A reception was held at the Rotary House in Runningwater Draw
Regional Park. Members of the house party were Angela Davis, Elaine Foote,
Fran Kisscllburg and Tiffany Ware. The couple will reside in Plainview.
The bride is a graduate of Plainview High School and is employed by
Lemons Funeral Home and The Flower Nook. Goss is a graduate of Plain vie w
High School and is a computer technician for the Plainview ISD.
A bridesmaid brunch was given by Mrs. Mike Lemons at the Plainview
Country Club. Other bridal courtesies included a miscellaneous shower in the
home of Mrs. Pat Buchanan and a lingerie shower hosted by Angela Davis,
the groom’s cousin.
