These Lions Are On The Prow! For Barbecue!
When you "line up for chow" at the Bellaire Lions Club
fourth annual barbecue on April 4, you will be getting ready
to enjoy truly delicious hickory smoked barbecue prepared
by the three guys clowning it up here. They are, left to right,
Lions Fritz Kaffenberger, J. Allen Wells and Jack Freeland.
All Bellaire Lions are participating in this big yearly event
which provides funds for support of the Houston Center for
Blind Children. A crew of Lions will be stationed at shop-
ping centers in the Bellaire area Saturday selling tickets. Ad-
vance sale tickets are $ 1.00 each. Regular price is $ 1.50. The
club's proud of the manner in which Bellaire folks have sup-
ported the project in the past and count on a big turn-out
again this year.
